Beat Hotel Long time project of Paul Pascoe (Mudlow, Palm Springs, Fire Eyes) and Arash Torabi (The June Brides, The Distractions, The Granite Shore). After a lengthy hiatus Beat Hotel was resurrected in 2013 for a collaboration with Jim Shepherd of The Jasmine Minks and a 7" single was released in 2013. Drum legend Dave Morgan (The Loft, Rockingbirds, Subway Sect) also featured, and has remained in the band since. Beat Hotel were also recently joined by ex-Mojo Fins Stephen Brett on lead guitar. On this long-awaited (self-titled) 6-track 12" mini album, you can expect a melodic psychedelic wall of sound, a touch of garage rock & roll and balanced with more laidback, strings-laden atmospheric vibes. |
